Introduction

1. Standard background and technical evolution

GB/T 35472 "Test Method for Friction Components of Wet Automatic Transmissions" is divided into seven parts. This part is the sixth part, which is specifically for the μ-PVT test method of the relationship between friction performance and pressure, speed and temperature. This standard was proposed by the China Building Materials Federation and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Non-metallic Mineral Products and Products.

2. Standard Scope

This standard specifies the use of SZBL friction tester to test the friction performance of wet friction components under different pressures, speeds and temperatures. It is suitable for using SZBL friction tester to test the μ-PVT relationship of wet friction components and evaluate their performance changes.

4. Experimental procedure and data acquisition

The test procedure includes cleaning, inspection, soaking, installation of friction elements, configuration of inertia and heating of test oil. The data acquisition frequency is 1000 samples/second per channel, and the data within the range of ±80ms is used to calculate the midpoint friction coefficient.

6. Implementation Suggestions

In actual applications, ensure that the accuracy of the test equipment meets the requirements and operate strictly in accordance with the parameters in the standard. For the analysis of test results, it is recommended to combine the μ-PVT graph and data table to fully evaluate the performance of the friction element.
