Introduction
In-depth interpretation of the National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 35562—2017
Background of standard formulation and analysis of technical evolution
GB/T 35562—2017 Temperature Evaluation Grade is an important national standard formulated based on many years of climate observation data and scientific research. The standard aims to standardize the method of temperature evaluation and provide a unified technical basis for meteorological services, agricultural planning, environmental protection and other fields.
Comparison of standard frameworks
| Standard dimensions | Evaluation levels | Indicator methods | Scope of application |
|---|---|---|---|
| Temperature calculation | Daily, ten-day, monthly and annual average temperatures | Arithmetic mean and weighted average methods | National and regional scale applications |
| Evaluation level division | 7 levels: abnormally low to abnormally high | Fixed threshold and standard deviation dual indicators | Climate monitoring and prediction services |
| Anomaly calculation | 30-year climate average as the benchmark | Formula (A.2): △T = T_i - \overline{T} | Long-term data analysis and evaluation |
Practical application case analysis
Calculation of arithmetic mean temperature:At a certain regional meteorological station, use formula (2) to calculate the arithmetic mean temperature of the stations in the region. For example, the daily average temperatures of the five meteorological stations are 10℃, 12℃, 9℃, 11℃ and 13℃ respectively, then the arithmetic mean temperature is 11.2℃.
Calculation of weighted average temperature:For regions with a large spatial range, use formula (3) for weighted averaging. Assume that a province is divided into three sub-regions of equal area, and the arithmetic mean temperatures of each sub-region are 12℃, 14℃ and 10℃ respectively, then the weighted average temperature is 12℃.
Technical evolution and optimization suggestions
From the perspective of the technical evolution of the standard, GB/T 35562-2017 has achieved optimization in the following aspects compared with previous versions:
- Improvement of the indicator system:Introducing standard deviation as an evaluation dimension enhances the scientificity and accuracy of temperature evaluation.
- Innovation of calculation method:For the first time, the application scenarios of arithmetic mean and weighted mean are clearly distinguished to improve the accuracy of regional assessment.
- Expansion of application scope:From simple climate analysis to meteorological services, agriculture and environmental protection, the practical value of the standard is enhanced.
Implementation suggestions
To ensure the effective implementation of GB/T 35562-2017, the following suggestions are put forward:
- Data quality control:Establish a unified data collection and processing process to ensure the accuracy and consistency of temperature observation.
- Technical training and promotion: Carry out standard promotion and technical training for meteorological, agricultural and other departments to improve the application ability of practitioners.
- System integration optimization: Embed the temperature evaluation module in the meteorological information system to realize the functions of automatic calculation and grade classification.
