Introduction
1. Background and significance of the standard
GB/T 35917-2018 "Membrane chip method for rapid determination of common animal-derived ingredients" is an important national standard formulated by China for the detection of animal-derived ingredients in meat products and feed. The standard was drafted by the China Institute of Standardization and specifies the application of the membrane chip method in the detection of animal-derived ingredients.
2. Detection principle
The standard is based on polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technology and membrane chip hybridization technology. Primers are designed for specific animal genes, and after multiple PCR amplification, the amplified products are hybridized with specific probes fixed on the membrane chip.

4. Testing steps and quality control
Sample preparation: Meat products and feed samples should be sampled according to GB/T9695.19 and GB/T14699.1 standards and processed by a high-throughput tissue grinder.
DNA extraction and purification: Use CTAB lysis buffer combined with phenol/chloroform method to extract genomic DNA to ensure purity (A260/A280 ratio between 1.7-2.1).
PCR amplification: Prepare multiplex PCR reaction system (see Table 3) and set reaction parameters (see Table 4).
5. Result determination and reporting
The membrane chip results can be observed by naked eyes or analyzed by a membrane chip reader. Positive signals are blue spots, while negative signals are colorless.
