This standard specifies the test method for the activity of palladium carbon catalyst with wood powdered activated carbon as the carrier and palladium as the main active component.
2. Background of Standard Formulation
Palladium carbon catalysts are widely used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical intermediates, electronics and other fields, and their activity is directly related to the effect of hydrogenation reduction reaction. This standard aims to unify the test method for the activity of palladium carbon catalysts to ensure the comparability and accuracy of experimental results.
3. Technical Principles
This standard is based on the principle that $N$-benzylaniline in the raw material undergoes hydrogenation reduction reaction with hydrogen in the presence of palladium-carbon catalyst. The catalyst activity is characterized by measuring the change in mass fraction of $N$-benzylaniline before and after the reaction using a gas chromatograph. 5. Sample processing and data analysis
In the experiment, gas chromatography was used for analysis, and the conversion rate of $N$-benzylaniline was calculated by normalization method. The arithmetic mean of the three measurement results was taken as the final result, and the extreme difference should not exceed 3%.
