Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
| Key indicators | Test methods | Application scenarios |
|---|---|---|
| Thermal resistance (Re) | Constant temperature/heat flow mode of the thermal manikin | Evaluation of the steady-state thermal insulation performance of sleeping bags |
| Comfortable low temperature (Ts) | Calculation of thermal resistance in lying position | Selection of conventional camping environment |
| Extreme low temperature (Tlim) | Calculation of thermal resistance in curled-up position | Evaluation of low temperature emergency situation |
Key Technical Points
The standard uses thermal manikin Charlie 3 as the benchmark test equipment, and requires the test environment to be: wind speed <0.5m/s, temperature difference ±0.1℃, humidity 40-80%. During the test, the manikin needs to wear a two-piece suit with a specific thermal resistance (0.04-0.06m²K/W).
Temperature level comparison
When the measured thermal resistance is 0.700m²K/W:
• Extreme low temperature: -5.8℃
• Extreme low temperature: +6.6℃
• Comfortable low temperature: +10.7℃
Implementation suggestions
1. Before testing, the sleeping bag needs to be pre-treated at 30℃ for 15 minutes and equilibrated in the test environment for 12 hours
2. 3 independent experiments should be conducted to ensure data stability
3. The calculated results need to be numerically rounded according to GB/T8170
