Introduction

1. Background and significance of formulation

This standard is jointly prepared by Beijing North Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. and China Ordnance Industry Standardization Research Institute and other units in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's "Notice on Issuing the 2015 Engineering Construction Standards and Specifications Formulation and Revision Plan" (Jianbiao [2014] No. 189). The formulation of the standard aims to standardize the construction of wastewater treatment facilities containing nitrobenzene compounds and improve the quality of engineering and environmental protection.

2. Main content framework of the standard

Chapter Main content Key points
General Basic requirements for standard engineering design, construction and acceptance. Emphasis on the principles of energy conservation and consumption reduction, water conservation and emission reduction, and ensure that the treated water quality meets the emission standards.
Design water volume and water quality Determine the design basis of the wastewater treatment plant. It is recommended to use 110% of the actual discharge volume as the design water volume to ensure system flexibility.
Wastewater treatment process Covering the technical requirements of pretreatment, biological treatment and deep treatment. The "iron-carbon micro-electrolysis-Fenton-neutralization-coagulation and sedimentation" combined process is recommended, which is suitable for complex wastewater treatment.
Secondary pollution control measures Prevent new environmental pollution during the treatment process. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of sludge treatment and waste gas purification measures.

3. Technological evolution and innovation

During the formulation of this standard, advanced domestic and foreign standards were referred to, and actual engineering experience was combined. The main technological innovations include:

  • Introducing new oxidation technologies (such as ozone oxidation and Fenton process) to improve treatment efficiency;
  • Optimizing the design of biological treatment units to improve sludge activity and treatment effect;
  • Strengthening secondary pollution control measures to ensure that the system meets environmental protection standards throughout its life cycle.

4. Implementation suggestions and precautions

Actual application case analysis

A chemical company successfully treated wastewater containing nitrobenzene compounds by using the "iron-carbon micro-electrolysis-Fenton combined process" recommended by this standard, and the COD removal rate was increased to 95%, which was significantly better than the traditional process.

Implementation suggestions:

  • Design and construction should be strictly carried out in accordance with standard requirements to ensure that all links meet the specifications;
  • Strengthen operation management, regularly monitor treatment effects, and adjust process parameters in a timely manner;
  • Pay attention to the resource utilization of sludge and reduce the risk of secondary pollution.
