本标准规定了漆膜颜色的两种表示方法。本标准适用于不透明的(即能遮盖底材)漆膜。本标准不适用于透明的漆膜和荧光漆的漆膜。

Scope

This standard specifies two methods for expressing the color of the paint film. One is to express the color of the paint film with the data of the three-color color scale system measured by the instrument stipulated by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE). The other is based on the Chinese color system sample book or the Munsell color atlas, that is, the color of the paint film is expressed by the label of the color's perceptual attributes (hue, lightness and chroma). It includes two kinds of visual method and calculation method of converting CIE data into labels with charts. This standard applies to opaque (i.e. capable of hiding the substrate) paint films. This standard does not apply to transparent paint films and fluorescent paint films.
