Scope
This standard specifies the determination of the content of oxyethylene groups in polyoxyethylene-type surfactants by iodometric method. Ethoxylated derivatives, if there are unreacted alcohols, fatty acids or alkylphenols in the derivatives, this standard is also applicable, if the derivatives contain sulfur or nitrogen, there is also a carbon atom adjacent to the oxyethylene group. Contain oxygen or halogen (such as oxypropylene), aldehyde or acetal, sterol, etc., this standard is not applicable,
