Scope

This standard specifies the term definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of artificial optical quartz crystals. This standard applies to the manufacture of artificial optical quartz crystals for optical components such as prisms, lenses, optical windows, optical rotators, polarizers, wave plates, and optical low-pass filters.
