1 Scope

This standard specifies technical requirements for types and dimensions, materials and mechanical properties, etc. of fasteners for pipe flange joints.
This standard is applicable to the fasteners for pipe flange joints of different materials such as steel flange, cast iron flange, copper alloy and composite flange.
Fasteners specified in this standard cover hexagon head bolts, stud bolts, full thread studs, hexagon nuts and large hexagon nuts.

3 Types and Dimension, Property Grades and Material Designations

3.1 Hexagon head bolts
3.1.1 The types and dimensions of hexagon head bolts for pipe flange joints shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5782; the bolt end shall be rounded (as shown in Figure 1), and the rounding shall meet the requirements of GB/T 2.
