Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the organic matter content in solid waste using the reduction on ignition method. This standard is applicable to the determination of organic matter content in solid wastes such as agricultural waste, domestic waste, kitchen waste, sludge, etc. When the sampling amount is 0.5 g, the detection limit of this standard method is 0.04%, and the lower detection limit is 0.16%.
