Introduction
Technical evolution and core changes of standards
| Technical elements | QX/T16-2002 | QX/T16-2020 | Improvement significance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard name | DJM10 Humidity Calibration Box | Thermohumidity and temperature instrument calibration box | Expand the scope of application to all types of temperature and humidity instruments |
| Performance indicators | Unevenness/instability | Temperature and humidity uniformity/fluctuation | Terminology is aligned with international standards (JJF1564) |
| Measurement parameters | 4 basic parameters | 10 technical indicators | New key indicators such as balance time and deviation |
Analysis of core performance indicators
5.3 Temperature and humidity deviation requirements
- Temperature deviation: ≤±1.0℃ (20% increase over the 2002 version)
- Humidity deviation: ≤±2%RH (new quantitative indicator)
5.4 Uniformity control
- Temperature uniformity: ≤0.3℃ (spatial temperature difference control)
- Humidity uniformity: ≤1%RH (new key indicator)
Key points for implementation
Calibration box selection recommendation
- Select humidity control principles such as dual temperature method/diversion method according to the type of instrument under test
- Working volume should be ≥ 3 times the volume of the instrument under test
- The communication interface needs to be compatible with industrial protocols such as RS485/Ethernet
Precautions for use
| Scenario | Operation specification |
|---|---|
| Low temperature environment | The water tank must be drained to prevent ice formation (Clause 5.2.4) |
| High-precision calibration | Preheat for ≥2 hours to ensure temperature balance (Clause 6.3.12) |
Innovation in measurement methods
6.3.4 Optimization of point layout scheme
- 9-point layout method: When the height of the effective working area is ≥50cm, a three-dimensional point layout is adopted
- 5-point simplified method: When the height is <50cm, a planar point layout scheme is adopted
Data collection specifications
Record once every 2 minutes, and make 15 consecutive measurements (Clause 6.3.5) to ensure:
- Temperature sampling interval ≤ 15 seconds (required by Table 1)
- Humidity response time ≤ 15 seconds (required by Table 1)
