Scope

This standard stipulates the setting up, equipment calibration, technical indicators, data collection and processing of highway vis bility detection stations, and stipulates the divis on of highway vis bility levels and the service process for early warning and forecasting of dense fog. This standard is applicable to highway vis bility monitoring and dense fog early warning and forecasting services. Vis bility monitoring at airports, waterways, etc. and dense fog early warning and forecasting may refer to this standard.
