Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography method for the determination of free formaldehyde in epoxy resin coatings on the inner walls of metal food containers. This standard is applicable to the analysis of free formaldehyde migration content in the epoxy resin coating on the inner wall of metal food containers. The lower limit of the method is 0.010 mg/L.
