Scope

This standard specifies the HPLC detection method for the migration of 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine in food contact polymer materials in food simulants. This standard is applicable to the determination of 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine in distilled water, 3% (mass fraction) acetic acid solution, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution, and olive oil as food simulants. The lower limit of determination of 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine in 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution and 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution of food simulants is 1.0 mg/kg, the lower limit of determination of 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine in distilled water is 2.0 mg/kg, and the lower limit of determination of 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine in olive oil is 2.5 mg/kg.
