Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of elastic damping reed shock absorbers (hereinafter referred to as shock absorbers). This standard applies to shock absorbers for torsional vibration of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines and their power units.
