《GB/T 16258-1996棉纤维含糖试验方法 定量法》由424-fibre(中国纤维检验局)归口,主管部门为国家市场监督管理总局。
本标准规定了用3,5-二羟基甲苯-硫酸溶液作显色剂,使用分光光度计定量测定棉花含糖量的试验方法。本标准适用于棉纤维所含全糖的定量测定。


Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the quantitative determination of the sugar content in cotton by using 3.5-dihydroxytoluene-sulfuric acid solution as the developer and using a spectrophotometer. This standard is applicable to the quantitative determination of total sugar contained in cotton fiber.
