《GB/T 21619-2008危险品易燃固体遇水放出易燃气体试验方法》由TC251（全国危险化学品管理标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准为首次制定。本标准规定了遇水放出易燃气体的物质试验的仪器与设备、操作步骤和结果的表示。本标准适用于固态物质，不适用于发火物质。本标准对应于联合国《关于危险货物运输的建议书：试验和标准手册》（第四修订版），与其一致性程度为非等效。本标准有关技术内容与上述手册完全一致，在标准文本格式上按ＧＢ／Ｔ１．１―２０００做了编辑性修改。

Scope

This standard specifies the instruments and equipment, operating procedures and presentation of results for the testing of substances that emit flammable gases in contact with water. This standard applies to solid substances, not pyrophoric substances.
