本标准规定了化学品哺乳动物精原细胞染色体畸变试验的范围、术语和定义、试验基本原则、试验方法、试验数据和报告。适用于检测化学品对哺乳动物精原细胞的细胞遗传学毒性。本标准等同采用经济合作与发展组织（ＯＥＣＤ）化学品测试指南Ｎｏ．４８３（１９９７年）《哺乳动物精原细胞染色体畸变试验》（英文版）。
本标准作了下列编辑性修改：
―――增加了范围部分；
―――计量单位改成我国法定计量单位；
―――删除了ＯＥＣＤ参考文献。

Scope

This standard specifies the scope, terms and definitions, basic principles of the test, test methods, test data and reports of the chemical mammalian spermatogonia chromosome aberration test. This specification is applicable to the detection of cytogenetic toxicity of chemicals to mammalian spermatogonia.
