This standard regulates requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, label, packing, freight, storing and safety of dilute nitric acid for industrial use (hereinafter referred to as "dilute nitric acid").
This standard is applicable to dilute nitric acid. Dilute acid is mainly used to produce nitrate materials and oxidizer.
