Scope

This standard specifies the terms, definitions, classifications, codes and markings of fiber reinforced composite cables for structures, as well as materials and production, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard is applicable to fiber reinforced composite cables that bear tension in structures such as bridges and buildings, and fiber reinforced composite cables for other structures can be used as a reference.
