《GB/T 35797-2018化妆品中帕地马酯的测定 高效液相色谱法》由TC257(全国香料香精化妆品标准化技术委员会)归口,TC257SC2(全国香料香精化妆品标准化技术委员会化妆品分会)执行,主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
Introduction
1. Standard Overview
GB/T 35797—2018 is the standard for the determination of padimester in cosmetics by high performance liquid chromatography, which is applicable to the determination of padimester A and padimester O in creams, lipsticks, lotions, loose powders and shampoos.
2. Background of Standard Formulation
The background of the formulation of this standard is to respond to the listing of padimester as a prohibited substance in my country's "Technical Specifications for Safety of Cosmetics". Nevertheless, due to technical limitations, these substances may exist as impurities in cosmetics, so their content needs to be tested to ensure safety.
3. Overview of the detection method
The detection method uses high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) combined with a UV detector or a diode array detector, quantified by the external standard method, and confirmed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
4. Sample processing flow
| Sample category | Processing steps |
|---|---|
| Cream | Weigh $0.2~\mathrm{g}$ sample, add sodium chloride, dissolve in methanol, perform ultrasonic extraction, and centrifuge filtration. |
| Lipstick | Weigh $0.2~\mathrm{g}$ sample, add tetrahydrofuran and methanol, perform ultrasonic extraction, and perform centrifuge filtration. |
| Water-based, loose powder and shampoo | Weigh $0.2~\mathrm{g}$ of sample, dissolve it in methanol, extract it by ultrasonic wave and filter it by centrifugation. |
5. Analysis steps and quality control
Drawing of standard curve: Prepare working solutions of different concentrations by diluting the mixed standard stock solution and measure the peak area-concentration relationship.
Measurement process: After the sample is treated, it is injected and analyzed, and the retention time and UV spectrum are compared and confirmed with the standard.
Blank test: Ensure the accuracy of the test results.
6. Result calculation and quality indicators
| Item | Parameter |
|---|---|
| Detection limit | 2 mg/kg |
| Quantification limit | 5 mg/kg |
| Recovery rate | 89.1%~112.5% |
| Precision | 1.1%~7.7% |
7. Implementation suggestions
In practical applications, it is recommended to:
- Strictly follow the standard operating procedures for sample processing and testing.
- Regularly calibrate the instrument to ensure detection accuracy.
- Confirm positive samples by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry to improve the accuracy of the results.
- Establish a complete detection record and quality control system.
