《GB/T 38691-2020石油炼制催化剂比表面积测试方法》由TC63(全国化学标准化技术委员会)归口,TC63SC10(全国化学标准化技术委员会化工催化剂分会)执行,主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard specifies the standardized method for determining the specific surface area of petroleum refining catalysts using the static nitrogen adsorption capacity method, which is mainly applicable to:
- Micro-mesoporous structure catalytic cracking catalyst
- mesoporous structure distillate oil hydrotreating catalyst
- catalytic reforming catalyst
Comparison of key technical indicators
| Parameters | Catalytic cracking catalyst | Hydrotreating catalyst | Test requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pore structure type | Micropore + Mesopore | Mainly Mesopore | Need to clarify the classification |
| BET test range | 0.05-0.20 relative pressure | 0.05-0.20 relative pressure | ≥5 test points |
| Precision requirement | ≤8.0 m²/g | ≤8.0 m²/g | Repeatability limit |
Key points for implementation of test method
1. Sample pretreatment
After sampling according to the requirements of GB/T 6679-2003, it is necessary to Degas at 300℃ in the class=instrument>vacuum degassing device for more than 4 hours, and the system vacuum degree must reach below 1.3 Pa.
2. Adsorption experiment operation
- Use fully automatic physical adsorption instrument, test at liquid nitrogen temperature (77K)
- Collect ≥20 data points in the relative pressure range of 0.01-0.99
- Guarantee ≥5 data points in the key area (0.05-0.20)
3. Data processing specifications
The BET equation calculation must meet the following requirements:
- Linear correlation coefficient R²≥0.9999
- The constant C value must be positive
- The monolayer adsorption capacity Vm is calculated by the intercept slope method
Analysis of standard technology evolution
This standard integrates GB/T 21650.2-2008 and NB/SH/T 0959-2017 technical requirements, the main innovations include:
Case application: A refinery catalytic cracking agent test showed that when the C value is less than 50, the degassing effect needs to be checked. The actual case shows that extending the degassing time to 6 hours can increase the C value to more than 120.
Implementation suggestions
- It is recommended that each batch of tests include standard sample calibration
- For samples with micropores> 30%, t-plot analysis needs to be added
- Regularly verify the vacuum degree of the equipment (<1.3Pa)
