《GB/T 5178-2008表面活性剂工业直链烷基苯磺酸钠平均相对分子质量的测定气液色谱法》由TC272（全国表面活性剂和洗涤用品标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
本标准代替GB/T 5178-1985《工业直链烷基苯磺酸钠平均相对分子量的测定　气液色谱法》。
本标准规定了测定工业直链烷基苯磺酸钠平均相对分子质量的方法。
本标准适用于直链烷基苯的测定。
本标准不适用于支链烷基苯的测定（因支链烷基苯的色谱峰无法进行鉴定）。
本标准与GB/T 5178-1985相比主要变化如下：
―――标准名称变为“表面活性剂　工业直链烷基苯磺酸钠平均相对分子质量的测定　气液色谱法”；
―――增加了利用微波消解法脱去磺酸基，该方法较原标准方法更为简单，且缩短了脱磺时间。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the average relative molecular weight of industrial linear alkylbenzene sulfonate sodium. This standard applies to the determination of linear alkylbenzene. This standard does not apply to the determination of branched-chain alkylbenzenes (because the chromatographic peaks of branched-chain alkylbenzenes cannot be identified).
