Scope

This standard specifies the use of ion chromatography for the determination of inorganic anions in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of fluoride ions, chloride ions, nitrite, nitrate, hydrogen phosphate and sulfate in surface water, groundwater, drinking water, precipitation and industrial wastewater. The method detection limits (MDL) are: F-0.01mg/L, Cl-0.02mg/L, NO-20.013mg/L, NO-30.009mg/L, HPO2-4 0.009mg/L, SO2-4 0.02mg /L.
