Scope

This standard specifies the principle, symbols, test equipment, samples, test procedures and test reports of the metal wire repeated bending test method. This standard applies to the determination of the plastic deformation capacity of metal wires with a diameter or characteristic size of 0.3 mm to 10 mm after repeated bending. The diameters or feature size ranges listed in this standard may be more specifically defined in relevant product standards.
