Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of the ground bond resistance tester. This standard applies to analog and digital AC/DC ground bond resistance testers, and also to the ground bond resistance measurement part of instruments that measure other parameters. This standard does not apply to grounding resistance meters for measuring the resistance between the grounding conductor and the earth and grounding resistance meters for similar purposes.
