Introduction

GB/T 33030-2016 Standard Overview

This standard was proposed and managed by the State Forestry Administration. The main drafting units include the Forest Products Chemical Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, Guangxi Wuzhou Richeng Forest Chemical Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Meisenyuan Forest Products Technology Co., Ltd. This standard aims to standardize the identification method of starch adulterants in rosin.

Background of Standard Formulation

With the widespread application of rosin in the industrial and medical fields, adulteration has become increasingly serious. The formulation of GB/T 33030-2016 fills the standard gap in the detection method in this field and provides a technical basis for ensuring the quality of rosin products.

Dimensions Traditional chemical method Modern instrumental analysis method
Detection time Shorter Longer
Sensitivity Low High
Cost Low High

Technical principles and test methods

This standard is based on the principle that starch substances combine with iodine to form a colored complex, and judges whether rosin contains starch adulterants through visual observation. The specific steps are as follows:

  1. Weigh the rosin sample and prepare the test specimen.
  2. Add saturated sodium chloride aqueous solution and turpentine to dissolve.
  3. Add 0.3% iodine-potassium iodide solution and observe the color change.

Instrument and reagent requirements

The instruments used in the test include water bath, balance, volumetric flask, graduated pipette, etc.. All reagents are analytically pure, and the water used in the laboratory must meet the third-level water standard in GB/T6682.

Implementation suggestions

In the actual testing process, it is recommended:

  • Strictly follow the standard operating procedures to ensure data accuracy.
  • Regularly calibrate instruments and equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Strengthen personnel training and improve the level of testing technology.
