| Failure mode analysis | Including seven modes such as surface separation of sealing layer and cohesive failure | Medical device packaging, food packaging and other fields | Hot tack curve drawing and data analysis |
Standard background and technology evolution analysis
GB/T 34445-2017 is formulated based on international advanced test methods and combined with the actual application needs of thermoplastics and their composite materials in my country. This standard fills the gap in the field of heat sealing performance testing of flexible thermoplastic materials in China and solves the problem of inconsistent test results caused by the lack of unified test methods for a long time.
As the packaging industry has higher requirements for material performance under high temperature and high humidity environments, this standard introduces innovative parameters such as delay time and withdrawal time to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of test results.
Detailed interpretation of the test method
Heat sealing process: The temperature of the heat sealing knife is consistent, and it is recommended to increase by 5-10°C. The heat sealing time for films with a thickness of ≤0.025mm is 0.5s, and for thicker materials it is 1.0s.
Implementation suggestions
- It is recommended to use the hot adhesion tester produced by
Languang Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. for testing. - The sample state adjustment needs to be at least 4 hours under standard conditions (23°C±2°C, 50%±10% RH).
- When recording the test data, pay attention to the deviation not exceeding ±10%, and retain the significant figures of the result: ≥1N retains three, <1N retains two.
