GB/T 35993—2018 Interpretation of the Standard for Gluten Tester for Grain and Oil Machinery
I. Overview of the Standard
This standard specifies in detail the terms and definitions, working principles, classifications, models, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of gluten testers. Gluten testers suitable for testing the quality of wheat and wheat flour.
II. Working Principle and Structural Composition
The gluten tester consists of a washing instrument, a centrifugal indexer and a drying instrument. It uses the characteristics of wheat gluten being insoluble in water to detect the gluten content and quality through stirring, washing, centrifugation and drying.
