Scope

This standard specifies the sample preparation, gas chromatography measurement, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry measurement and confirmation methods for the detection of 2,4-D butyl ester residues in exported meat and meat products. This standard is applicable to the detection and confirmation of 2,4-D butyl ester residues in exported chicken, pork, beef and pork sausages. The lower limit of determination of this method is 0.005 mg/kg.
