Core method principle

The samples were purified by PSA solid phase extraction column using 10 mmol/L ammonium acetate (containing 0.1% formic acid)-methanol as the mobile phase for gradient elution, and multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) was performed in electrospray positive ion mode.


Key Operation Points

  • pH Control: NaOH should be used to accurately adjust the pH to 8.5-8.6 during extraction
  • Purification Process: PSA column should be activated with 4 mL acetonitrile-toluene (3:1) before use
  • Mass Spectrometer Parameters: Capillary voltage 4000V, nebulizer gas pressure 40 psi

Solutions to Common Problems

Matrix Effect: It is recommended to use a blank matrix to match the standard curve. Special attention should be paid to the recovery rate of 2-aminobenzimidazole in apple juice

Column Maintenance: C18 column should be rinsed with 90% methanol for 30 minutes after daily use


Standard Application Value

This standard meets the requirements of EU (EC) No 396/2005 and other regulations, and is particularly suitable for testing export products such as concentrated apple juice and orange juice. The method detection limit is 50% lower than the EU MRL standard value, providing reliable technical support for international trade.
