1. Background and significance of the standard

GB/T39693.7-2022/ISO487:2018 "Determination of hardness of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber Part 7: Determination of apparent hardness of rubber rollers by Shore hardness method" is based on the international standard ISO487:2018 and is intended to standardize the measurement method of the surface hardness of rubber rollers in the rubber products industry.

This standard fills the gap in the determination of apparent hardness of rubber rollers in the domestic rubber products field and provides the industry with a set of scientific and unified testing methods.
