Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of antioxidants in vulcanized rubber and compounded rubber. This standard applies to the determination of anti-aging agents (aldehydeamines, ketoneamines, secondary amines, p-phenylenediamines, bisphenols, polyphenols and phosphates) in vulcanized rubber or mixed rubber by thin-layer chromatography.
