Scope

This standard specifies the qualitative determination and gas chromatography quantitative analysis methods for the moisture content of general paint thinners and moisture-proof agents. The gas chromatography quantitative analysis of this standard is applicable to diluents and moisture-proof agents with a moisture content of 0.02% to 3%. When the water content is 0.005% ~ 0.02% or 3% ~ 5%, this method can still be used, but the experimental error may increase. The determination of moisture in special diluents and special moisture-proof agents shall be carried out in accordance with relevant product standards.
