This standard specifies propionic acid, sorbic acid, benzoic acid, dehydroacetic acid, isopropyl parahydroxybenzoate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, isobutyl parahydroxybenzoate, paraben Gas chromatography detection and sample preparation methods for various preservatives such as propyl hydroxybenzoate and butyl parahydroxybenzoate.
