Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

This standard establishes an analytical method for the determination of chlorpyrifos residues in plant-derived foods by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Chlorpyrifos is converted into 2,4-dinitro-6-(1-methylheptyl)phenol (2,4-DNOP) through alkaline hydrolysis and then detected. The limit of quantification is 0.01 mg/kg.

Method Validation Data

Validation data showed that in matrices such as rice and cucumber, when the addition concentration was in the range of 0.01-0.1 mg/kg, the recovery rate was 71.4%-115.7% and the RSD was ≤11.5%, which met the international pesticide residue analysis requirements (CODEX GL 72-2009).

Background of standard evolution

This standard fills the gap in the detection standard for mite in my country's exported food. The technical route refers to the EU SANTE/12682/2019 guidelines. The detection sensitivity is 10 times higher than that of the traditional GC method, which meets the increasingly stringent pesticide residue limit requirements in international trade.
