Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of amino acids in food with an automatic amino acid analyzer. This standard applies to aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, Determination of sixteen amino acids including phenylalanine, histidine, lysine and arginine. Its minimum detection limit is 10 pmol. This standard is not applicable to the determination of amino acids in fruits, vegetables, beverages and starchy foods with low protein content.
