Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions for the determination of reducing sugar and non-reducing sugar, as well as the principles, reagents, instruments and utensils, operating procedures, result calculation and repeatability of the two determination methods. This standard applies to the determination of reducing sugar and non-reducing sugar content in commercial grain. Among them, the potassium ferricyanide method is mainly used for the determination of wheat flour.
